Connection plugs
We don’t sell devices without a Dutch or Belgian plug. We also don’t sell devices that have a travel adapter. A travel adapter is a connector that makes a foreign plug suitable for a Belgian or Dutch socket.
Keyboards
To prevent compatibility issues, you can’t sell AZERTY keyboards in the Netherlands. You can sell QWERTY keyboards in Belgium.
Gas connection for gas cookers and hobs
To protect the safety of our customers, we only offer gas cookers and hobs via our platform that are specially made for use in the Netherlands or Belgium. This is important because gas cookers and hobs designed for a specific country can cause dangerous situations when used in a country they’re not intended for. That’s why we limit our range to models that meet the specific requirements of these 2 countries.
Mobile phones and 2G network
From 1 December 2024, the 2G network will be unencumbered by several providers, meaning that mobile phones using 2G will no longer be supported. To ensure that customers do not buy unusable phones, we will remove 2G phones from our range from 1 December 2024. The items will then no longer be allowed to be offered.
