‘Magnetic construction toys’ are toys that use magnetic force to connect the separate elements, including:

• Magnetic balls
• Magnetic cubes
• Neocubes
• Buckyballs
• Nanodots

Even if you don’t sell them as ‘toys’, there’s a good chance they will end up in children’s hands. The health risk of swallowing and/or suffocating is very high in this target group. To protect the health and safety of the user and their environment, you can’t offer magnetic construction toys via bol with a magnet that’s smaller than 4 centimetres in diameter.

Please note that magnets with a diameter larger than 4 centimetres must still comply with the applicable laws and regulations in the Netherlands and Belgium, and with our general toy guidelines.
