Commercial Insights Report Plus (+)

Publication

The Commercial Insights Reporting Plus (CIS+) is an expanded, premium version of the Commercial Insights Reporting (CIS).

The Commercial Insights Reporting Plus (CIS+) is an expanded, premium version of the Commercial Insights Reporting (CIS). In the CIS, you can see how many sales (#) you made through the bol Retailer last week, from Monday through Sunday. In the CIS+ version, you get that too, but we also add the sales price to the number of units per day, so you can calculate your sales.

Benefits of the Commercial Insights Report Plus

  1. We show you the price at which the bol Retailer sold your item, allowing you to calculate revenue
  2. We show what the lowest price is on the platform for your items. So you can see if price is a reason why you lost the buy button
  3. You can see which items (in euros) contribute the most to the total sales you realize

Number of Items Sold

In this report, just like in the Commercial Insights Report, you are going to see how many items you have sold per EAN. For convenience, in the CIS+ we have made a distinction between the Netherlands and Belgium, instead of only showing this as a percentage.

Total sales value

In the CIS+, we not only show you how many pieces you sold on a given day, but also give you the selling price of this item. So you can calculate what your sales are per EAN per day. Should the price change on a day, we also give you an average sales price, so you can still calculate how many euros of sales you made per EAN, per day.

Minimum price on the platform

There are often multiple sellers of the same items on bol. In this report, we show the lowest price of the EAN that you offer on bol. For example, it could be that the item you offer for 100 euros is offered on bol, but that there is another provider who does so for 99 euros. We only indicate in this report that there was a seller who offered it for 99 euros, we do not tell you by whom it was offered and/or that it was actually sold.

This information does give you insight into why you lost the buy button. Is this because of inventory? Or is it due to another provider on the platform offering a structurally cheaper price.
