Unfortunately, not every client supports FTPS. A well-known FTP client that supports FTPS is FileZilla. When you get to this point, it is worth verifying if a known compatible FTP client can connect. We recommend making use of FileZilla, using the premade configuration

If connecting with FileZilla works, you have ruled out issues with firewall and IP restrictions and confirmed that your account works. Go over your own client settings one more time, and, if it still doesn’t work, contact suppliermanagement@bol.com for support. We will need, at minimum, the following information: 

  • Which client program is being used, including the exact version 
  • Which operating system 
  • Preferably a screenshot of the client settings 

Unfortunately, there usually isn’t much bol can do if the client truly does not support FTPS.
