When to create a new pre-announcement

There are two reasons to create a new pre-announcement.

A new pre‑announcement is only required in the following two situations:

  1. Rejected shipment
If a shipment has received a red card and is rejected, a new pre‑announcement must always be created — regardless of the reason for the rejection.
  2. Not all pre‑announced products delivered
When not all pre‑announced products are delivered, these products can no longer be accepted on the existing pre‑announcement.
To deliver the remaining products, a new pre‑announcement must be created.

Creating a new pre-announcement

To create a new pre-announcement the steps from Create a new pre-announcement can be followed. There is one extra step that needs to be done in Step 2 when searching for the products. There is a checkbox that needs to be ticked called Also display already shipped orderlines. Once this checkbox is ticked the steps from Create a new pre-announcement can be followed.

Refused shipment

If a shipment has received a red card and thus has been refused, a new pre-announcement must be created. Irregardless of the refusal reason.

Not all products delivered

It is possible that due to circumstances not all pre-announced products can be delivered. These products cannot be accepted on a pre-announcement that has already been processed by the warehouses. A delivery attempt on a later day or on a closed pre-announcement will be refused.

To accept these products a new pre-announcement must be created.
