New measurement system

Last update: On the 23rd of February, the data in the supplier platform will be transferred to the new measurement system. Read here to find out what this entails.

We’re updating our measurement system

The e-commerce market is evolving rapidly and offers more opportunities. That’s why we’re updating our measurement system for advertising and e-commerce data, in line with IAB Europe standards. This will provide sharper insights and better comparability with other platforms. As a result, your performance data may change slightly. The update affects the data in your sales account(s) and your advertising data. Read here what this means for you and what steps you can take.

What does this mean for you as a supplier?

We are measuring customer behaviour on our platform in a new way. Search volumes and customer visits to product and landing pages will be measured differently. As a result, visits and conversion reporting, buy box percentages, and product positions may also differ. With this update, data in the supplier account will align with your partner account. Much easier!

What can you do?

  • Re-download 2026 data: Have you already downloaded 2026 data in recent days? Please download it again. On the 23rd of February, we switched to this new measurement system, but the data has been adjusted retroactively from 1 January 2026.
  • Historical data remains unchanged: Data prior to 2026 will not be adjusted to the new measurement system. Previous years’ data will remain as is, so you don’t need to re-download it.
  • Compare again: When comparing data, keep in mind there may be a trend break between previous years and 2026.

Are you also a partner or advertiser with bol?

The new measurement system also affects your partner and advertising data. More information about this can be found on the partnerplatform.
