Your offer complies with the laws and regulations in the Netherlands and Belgium. Consider:
- The differences between Dutch and Belgian legislation.
- The licences, registrations and inspections that you need from organisations and/or bodies.
- Guidelines for importing, distributing, manufacturing, storing and sending items.
- The obligations regarding the product information you fill in, such as guarantees, claims, warning labels and contact information.
Healthy, safe and ethical
It’s important that your range doesn’t cause unpleasant consequences or damage during production or use. We think it’s important that the items that are sold via our platform are offered in a fair and responsible manner. That’s why we clearly distance ourselves from animal suffering and put the safety and health of our customers above making a profit. This ensures that we sometimes anticipate legislation. For example, when an item is under discussion or when it has adverse consequences for users or their environment.

- Items that are only intended for criminal activities
- Items with material from a protected plant or animal species
- Items that are wholly or partially made of fur

Customer expectations
We expect the quality and delivery time of your items to match the expectations you create in your shop. Based on customer feedback – such as return statistics and customer queries – we keep track of the extent to which your item matches the customer’s expectations. We also compare your items with similar items from other partners to see the differences.
If there’s a big difference between the performance of your item and similar items from other partners, you’ll receive an email that that item is performing below expectations. We then ask you to improve the item as soon as possible, so that it better meets the expectations of our customers. This could lead to bol no longer purchasing the items.
