Climate Reporting

How to report your carbon footprint?

To track the progress of of Ahold Delhaize’s goals to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions, we map the emissions within the entire supply chain. That is why we ask you to report your Scope 1-2-3 emissions to Ahold Delhaize via CDP or the new bol questionnaire*, annually.

* This does not apply to our Not for Resale (NFR) suppliers.

How to start climate reporting via CDP?

About CDP

CDP is a not-for-profit charity that runs the global disclosure system for investors, companies, cities, states and regions to manage their environmental impacts. It has questionnaires on Climate Change, Water Security and Forests.

Questionnaire

We will start requesting you to disclose the Climate Change questionnaire annually via our group Ahold Delhaize. This questionnaire – including the “Supply Chain module” – is needed to aggregate your emissions into Ahold Delhaize’s total supply chain footprint.

Please make sure to link your account to your clients, in this case to Ahold Delhaize (not to bol). We recognize that some of you have one or more Ahold Delhaize brands as a client. There is no need to link your CDP questionnaire to each brand – just link to Ahold Delhaize and we will sort out the rest!

CDP webinar for suppliers of bol

In July 2025, we hosted a webinar on reporting in CDP together with our parent company Ahold Delhaize. See the recording below:

The slides are available here.

How to start climate reporting via the bol questionnaire?

The bol questionnaire is a compact and simplified questionnaire on CO2 emissions. This has made it easier to collect the requested emissions data, especially for smaller organizations. The data collected helps us to create insights and provide insight to suppliers about their CO2 emissions.

Start your disclosure

All our suppliers will receive an invitation via email for onboarding in April 2025 (ImpactBuying) and June 2025 (CDP).

Log in to CDP

When you log in, you will see your customers that request emissions reporting, including Ahold Delhaize. For small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) there is a separate questionnaire in CDP. The questionnaire will also ask questions about the SBTi status of your organization. Here you can find information on how to fill in the (general) CDP questionnaire.

If you cannot log in to CDP, please contact CDP via “My Support” in the CDP Help Center.
