On this page you can read all about the status of your product information after changes have been made.
View product information changes
In your supplier account, you can see the status of the changes you have made to the product information. This can be done in two ways:
- When you want to change the product information of an article in your supplier account, you will find a tab “feedback” next to the tab “product information”. Clicking on this tab will take you to the feedback page for this item. Here you can see on which day you have made a change and what the status of your proposal is.
- Have you updated or added product information for several items and want to see the status? Click on ‘Insights’ at the top of the menu bar of your supplier account and then on ‘Changed product information’. You will find an overview of all your changes and the status of the changes. Feedback on changes will be visible for up to 4 weeks.
You can check the status of your product information changes at any time on the ‘Changes per product’ page. We also show why some changes are not implemented. In addition, we also show here when product information has been changed by other providers. You can also see which provider did this.

I provided product information but cannot see it on the website
There are several linked reasons why you may not see the product information you provided. These can be the following reasons:
- It can take up to 8 hours for changes or supplied product information to become visible on bol.com. If your product information is not visible within 8 hours, please wait a little longer.
- If your product information is still not visible after 8 hours, the product information of another Supplier may have been chosen. Bol.com is a platform where multiple Suppliers can sell the same article. All these Suppliers have the opportunity to provide product information. Based on an algorithm, the best product information for the Customer is chosen and shown on the product page.
It is possible that you want to correct a demonstrable error in an article but this product information is not entered. If that is the case, please contact the Content Specialist.
Can my product information be overwritten by another Supplier?
Yes, it is possible that your product information could be overwritten. Each article has its own product page. If you are selling an article that is also sold by other Suppliers, you share the product page.
In order to show the best product information on that page, it is possible to change existing product information. You can do this yourself – but so can other Suppliers. Based on a number of conditions, an algorithm chooses the best product information for the Customer and displays it on the product page.
If you are a brand owner, you have the option to protect the content for your products and make sure that other providers cannot change it just like that. You can read more about this here.
Are you the brand owner of an article and are you the only one allowed to sell the article or provide product information? Then you can make a report using this form.
Is my product information always used?
Articles can be sold on bol.com by several Suppliers. It is therefore also possible for any Supplier to place product information online. Based on a number of conditions, an algorithm chooses the best product information for the Customer and this is displayed on the product page. This means that your change may not be used, because the existing change is seen as better for the Customer. It is therefore possible that your product information will be overwritten with product information of another Supplier.
It is possible that you may want to correct a demonstrable error in an article, but this product information is not displayed. If this is the case, please contact your Content Specialist.
