Fastlane delivery at bol

Take advantage of the opportunity to make a time slot reservation and expedite the delivery process.

The purpose of using a slot reservation is to provide carriers with the opportunity to make a booking in advance for a specific time slot at a Bol warehouse. For deliveries that are made with a slot booking, a dock will be made available that is tailored to the capacity of the shipment. This eliminates the need for carriers to wait in a queue and allows them to report to the gatekeeper.

Benefit for carriers

By making the slot booking, Bol can better align the inbound capacity. For carriers, this will mean:

  • Upon arrival at the warehouse, the driver does not need to exit the vehicle for the barriers (communication takes place via the intercom).
  • Upon arrival, the gatekeeper will grant access via the intercom based on the slot booking shipment ID and assign a dock.
  • Capacity is scheduled in advance, expediting the processing process.

Conditions for slot bookings

To ensure a smooth process, there are a few rules:

  • A slot booking must be made for every transport movement.
  • A slot booking must be registered in the Supply Chain portal before 8:00 PM on the day before delivery.
  • When delivering via the Fastlane, the carrier must be present between the start of the time slot and 15 minutes thereafter, at the barriers of the warehouse.
  • At the barriers, the carrier must communicate the Shipment ID of the time slot via the intercom.
  • Regular packing slips still need to be handed over during delivery at the docks of the warehouses.
  • The delivery date of the pre-notification made by the supplier is decisive, regardless of the date of the slot booking.
  • If the carrier is too early or too late for a slot booking, they will have to follow the regular check-in procedure.
  • The standard delivery conditions also apply to slot bookings, which can be found here.
